May Charity of the Month - Swords to Plowshares

May is a month during which we honor our Armed Forces. Whether it’s by visiting veterans, sending care packages to troops, or taking a moment of silence on Memorial Day to remember those who have served and have passed, we all find our own ways to commemorate the women and men who have made unforgettable and immense sacrifices during times of war.

Helping and caring for veterans is a cause very near and dear to our hearts. Some of our developers are veterans, and many Hammers have family members who are vets, making the cause all the more personal for us. That’s why for May’s Charity of the Month, we teamed up with Swords to Plowshares to make blankets for veterans. We wanted to give back to our military community. Swords to Plowshares helps veterans in need. Founded by veterans in 1974, it’s an organization made up of vets who help vets.
