Starting next week on Tuesday, July 21st, we're excited to be introducing three new weapons and their unique variants for players to enjoy in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's multiplayer. These weapons will be available for all players on Xbox One first, coming soon to PlayStation 4 and PC.

Blunderbuss

The Blunderbuss is a short range shotgun that packs a punch. Delivering a great amount of damage up close in a wide spread, it has the drawback of a slow reload speed between the single shots. In the right hands, it can help players holding down objectives in Hardpoint or keep your team's flag secure in Capture the Flag. The Blunderbuss base weapon will be unlocked once you receive one of the variants. So in order to use the base weapon, you'll first have to receive one of the ten variants of the Blunderbuss in an Advanced Supply Drop or Supply Drop, then the base weapon will be unlocked in Create a Class. Check out a few of our favorite Blunderbuss variants included in the image above, and be on the lookout for the other seven next week!

STG44 & SVO

The STG44 makes a return to Call of Duty as a new Assault Rifle available in multiplayer. Known for its solid accuracy and manageable fire-rate, the STG44 works great for medium range combat situations.

The SVO is a semi-automatic Sniper Rifle with great accuracy the trade-off being increased recoil. We're excited to see how players combine this classic weapon with advanced tech attachments, such as Advanced Warfare's thermal scope or kick it old school with iron sights. Either way, we're looking forward to the community's reaction to how this new weapon feels when stacked up against the other sniper lineup.

Both the STG44 and SVO have five variants each, and the base weapon will be unlocked once you receive one of the variants. So in order to use the base weapon, you'll first have to receive one of the variants of the STG44 or SVO in an Advanced Supply Drop or Supply Drop, then the base weapon will be unlocked in Create a Class.

As always, we're listening and we'd love to hear your feedback on the new weapons we're adding to Advanced Warfare. Keep in mind that this is the first set of three weapons we're adding, and be sure to stay tuned for more info next month for future weapon releases coming next to Advanced Warfare. Feel free to give us a shout on Twitter when you receive one of the new variants in a Supply Drop. We can always be reached on our social media channels at Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and Instagram. Have fun and we'll see you online!
